Nourishment in Action
Welcome to Salute to Wellness…a space rooted in care, dignity, and the belief that nourishment is one of the most powerful ways we can support one another.
While much of my work focuses on helping women over 40 feel better in their own bodies through food and gentle habits, Warm Hearts Pantry Kits grew from a different calling… one rooted in community.
Over the past few years, I’ve witnessed more families, seniors, and neighbors quietly struggle to afford groceries or prepare nourishing meals. As a Veteran and military spouse living near a military community, these conversations felt deeply personal. I wanted to create something practical, kind, and replicable…something anyone could do, anywhere.
Warm Hearts Pantry Kits
Warm Hearts Pantry Kits are simple, shelf-stable “meal-in-a-bag” kits designed to make it easier to offer nourishment with care. Each kit includes:
• A complete pantry-friendly meal
• A printable recipe card
• A gentle encouragement note
• Clear instructions for simple preparation
They’re intentionally designed so everything inside the bag is sealed and safe to share… no measuring, no specialty items, no pressure.
These kits can be assembled and given to:
• neighbors or friends in a hard season
• little free pantries
• schools or senior communities
• shelters, churches, or mutual aid groups
• or kept on hand to support yourself during a challenging time
Available Resources
You’ll find two ways to access Warm Hearts Pantry Kits:
• Free Starter Kit
A 5-meal printable set created for individuals, families, or small community efforts. This option is completely free and offered with no expectations.
• Full Community Resource Bundle
A more comprehensive collection designed for groups, workplaces, schools, churches, and organizations who want to build or distribute kits on a larger scale. This bundle includes 25 recipes, organizer guides, printables, and planning support and is offered with a suggested donation to help support the time, care, and continued development of this project.
A Gentle Note
I am not assembling or distributing physical kits. My role is to provide the recipes, resources, and guidance so others can bring this work to life in their own communities, in ways that feel aligned and sustainable for them.
My hope is simple:
That these kits make nourishment feel possible again.
That people feel seen, supported, and cared for.
And that small acts of kindness continue to ripple outward.
If you’re here, you belong…whether you’re giving, receiving, or simply learning what’s possible.
